Representatives of Fayette County Post 105 attended a dinner welcoming the American Legion National Commander Dan Dellinger during his visit to Georgia. Dellinger met with Legionnaires to discuss the changes to veterans benefits and the important role the American Legion plays across the nation. Pictured with Commander Dellinger, left, are Dave Niebes, Post 105 Commander, and Renee Robb-Truitt, President of Legion Auxiliary Unit 105, presenting a donation for the National Emergency Fund which provides funds for Legionnaires affected by disasters. Post 105 is the oldest military veterans organization in Fayette County and meets the second Monday of every month at the Log Cabin in Fayetteville.Photo/Special.
