Sandy Creek is headed to state meet

It was their first time competing but no one would have guessed it as Sandy Creek High’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Chapter racked up 20 placements at the regional competition.

Out of the 19 students who placed (one earned two placements), 11 of them will advance to the State Leadership Conference. Those students are Carlisle Vidourek (Digital Design and Promotion), Saridth Galvan (Digital Design and Promotion), Tamara Lopez (Digital Design and Promotion), Rosie Jamison (Hospitality Management), Ellie Klarl (Hospitality Management and Business Communication), Jamarcus Mathis (Hospitality Management), Madison McNair (Impromptu Speaking), Alexa Yanar (Introduction to Business Communication), Malcolm Woods (Personal Finance), Jasmine Clarke (Business Math), and Taylour Howell (Digital Video Production).

Chapter members who also earned placements at the regional competition include MJ LaGrande (second place, Network Design), Sammy Brown (second place, Network Design), Kobie Lain (fourth place, Public Service Announcement), Jacorey Moon (fifth place, Future Business Leader), Jacob Reynolds (fifth place, Hospitality Management), Kali Williams (fifth place, Hospitality Management), Bailey Geter (fifth place, Marketing) and Grayson Harper (fifth place, Marketing).

The State Leadership Conference will be March14-15 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
