COS will host ‘Resolution Run’ Jan. 4
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church is sponsoring a “Resolution Run” on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 9 a.m.  on the 5K course at the church’s Palmetto Road property. Runners, joggers, walkers and all are invited.  Gatorade and hot chocolate will be served at the finish line. For more information, call the church office, 770-487-8717.

Children’s Epiphany Pageant set
The children’s Epiphany Pageant at All Saints Anglican Church in Peachtree City  is planned for Jan. 5 at 10:45 a.m. All Saints Anglican is at 225 S. Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.

Hopewell UMC men to meet
All men are invited to join the United Methodist Men  at Hopewell United Methodist Church for their monthly breakfast meeting Sunday, Jan. 5 at 8:30 a.m. Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Road, directly across from Sandy Creek High. DivorceCare starts Jan. 7

Hopewell seniors plan outing
Hopewell United Methodist Church’s Senior Adult Ministry will head to Fayetteville for lunch at “Truett’s Luau” Wednesday, Jan. 8. The bus will leave the church at 10:45 a.m. Contact Lucy Ellison or Joan Adams at the church to reserve a seat. Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Road, directly across from Sandy Creek High. ‘Sock Sunday’ is Jan. 12 at Hopewell
Those attending Hopewell United Methodist Church  on Jan. 12 are encouraged to bring new, white only,  cotton socks for homeless men, women and children. All sizes are needed. A bin for donations labeled “Socks” will be located by the exit door next to the carport. The Mission Outreach project is sponsored by the Methodist Women. FFUMC blood drive honors local attorney
The blood drive at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church on Jan. 19 will honor local attorney George Sparrow, who, among his other contributions to the community, is a founding board member of Honor Flight Fayette. Sparrow has myelodisplastic syndrome (MDS) and needs several transfusions each month. Sign up at the church to donate Sunday mornings in the courtyard ot contact Tommy Webb at Webbthomasw@gmail.com.

ESL classes continue at Carriage Lane
Free ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for adults meet weekly through May 16 at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, PCA,  in Peachtree City.  Students can join at any time.  Classes are held on Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  Childcare is provided.
