Mr. Bryan Fletcher, age 52 of Locust Grove, Ga. passed away October 7, 2013.
He was born in Macon, Ga. and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology with highest honors in 1983. Bryan was a member of Avalon Church and was Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Georgia Power/Southern Company. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, high performance cars, remodeling and carpentry.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Karen Fletcher. Survivors include his wife of nearly 26 years, Christy Tarrer Fletcher of Locust Grove; children, Melissa (Calvin) Ellington of Newnan, Alan Fletcher, Jr., Jordan Fletcher and Michael Fletcher all of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Ansley and Cole Ellington; parents, William E. Fletcher, Sr. and Genevieve N. Fletcher of Macon; siblings, William E. (Rita) Fletcher, Jr. of Lizella, Joseph Kevin (Tammy) Fletcher of Mequon, Wisconsin, James Randall “Jim” (Kimberly) Fletcher of Stockbridge, father in law and mother in law, John L. and Lee C. Tarrer of Lawrenceville.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Rev. Ritchie Miller officiated. Interment followed at Camp Memorial Park.
