0Mr. and Mrs. Mark P. McCord of Fayetteville are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Crystal Leigh McCord to Benjamin Michael Wardell, also of Fayetteville, on August 3, 2013, in Alvaton, where the reception was also held. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Andrew Hill of Grace Evangelical Church.
Crystal is a 2009 graduate of Whitewater High School, and is a senior majoring in Accounting at Georgia State University. She is employed at RLI Corp. as an Accounting Specialist.
Benjamin is a 2004 graduate of Fayette County High School, and a 2012 graduate of Columbus State University, with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to attending Columbus State University, Benjamin served as an Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, participating in multiple deployments, to include a tour in Iraq. Benjamin is currently a Director of Security for SecurAmerica LLC.
Benjamin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Wardell, of Fayetteville.
The couple currently resides in Senoia, Ga., and plan on a delayed honeymoon due to their school and work schedules.
