0The new park at the Lake McIntosh reservoir in Peachtree City will be closed Oct 11-14 due to the Great Georgia Air Show.
The park is inside the safety zone for the air show, and so it must be unoccupied during the three-day event, county officials said.
The Planterra Ridge golf course and other businesses in the area will also be affected, officials said.
The airshow is a non-profit venture to help community organizations including the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, which restores and maintains vintage aircraft from the WWII era.
