A wide range of county businesses will be displaying their wares and services next Tuesday at the Fayette Chamber’s 23rd Annual Community Expo.

The Sept. 17 Expo — from 3 to 7 p.m. — is in a new location, New Hope Baptist Church-South Campus, located at 1563 Joel Cowan Parkway, near the intersection of Georgia Highways 74 and 85, south of the Starr’s Mill schools complex. Admission is free.

In addition to more than 100 exhibitors representing some of the best businesses and organizations in Fayette County, visitors can expect to find a wide variety of opportunities.

The Healthy Fayette Indoor Pavilion is a designated area showcasing healthcare resources and support organizations dedicated to keeping our community healthy and fit. Physician groups, chiropractic care, senior care, assisted living providers, physical therapists, eye care specialists and flu shot providers will be just some of the exhibitors in this featured area.

Business owners can find legal services, accounting experts, janitorial suppliers, printing services, insurance providers, banking resources, and media and technology platforms.

Homeowners will find carpet cleaning, pest control, computer and electronics services, waste and recycling solutions, tax assistance, landscaping and heating and air conditioning experts.

Attendees can find ways to pamper themselves, or even their pets, by visiting with spas, sporting clubs, specialty food providers and pet salons.

Education exhibitors such as universities, private schools, educational publishers, and literacy advocates will be on hand. In addition, local non-profits and charities that support our community also will be available.

Piedmont Fayette Hospital, this year’s presenting sponsor, is celebrating its Sweet 16 birthday at Expo. To mark the occasion, Piedmont Fayette’s chef will be preparing healthy food recipes in the Expo Cafe and trainers will be conducting Zumba lessons on the Healthy Fayette Pavilion stage.

Expo attendees also can take advantage of health screenings and product demonstrations, enjoy food samples, get a flu shot, register for door prizes and so much more.
