Two teenage males from Coweta County were arrested Aug. 22 in connection with the recent burglary of a Fayette County residence.

Hunter Kirbow, 18, and a 16-year-old male, both from Coweta County, were charged with first degree burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb.

Babb said residents of the home on Davis Road in central Fayette were not at home when the Aug. 12 burglary occurred.

Babb said a window was broken to gain entry to the home. Once inside, the alleged perpetrators took numerous items including three firearms, said Babb.

Sheriff’s detectives after the arrests were able to recover the firearms, Babb said.
