On August 21, 2013, Mary Lee Dunn, formerly of Brooks, Ga., went to be with the Lord.
She was 89 years old. She was a member of Brooks Baptist Church for many years. She was employed with American Mills for 30 years before she retired. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Dunn; her sons Glen Dunn and Larry Dunn; her daughters, Mary Ann Turner and Linda Fincher; and granddaughter Robin Page.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita (Marty) Nowell of Dothan, Ala., one son, Cecil (Shirley) Dunn of Fayetteville, Ga. and sister Lucille Henderson of Lovejoy, Ga.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Ed Lynch will officiate. The burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Cemetery, Brooks, Ga.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
