A total of 106 students at Fayette County High have earned their Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOS) certification through the Microsoft IT Academy Program launched by the Georgia Department of Education and Microsoft Corp, and unveiled at the high school earlier this year.

The MOS certification is the premier credential chosen by individuals seeking to validate their knowledge, skills and abilities relating to the Microsoft Office application suite. The credential enables individuals who attain it to tap the full features and functionality of the Microsoft Office system, resulting in heightened levels of individual performance, confidence, and differentiation in the job market.
The proctored exam takes about 90 minutes during which time exam candidates are asked to perform a series of tasks to clearly demonstrate their skills.
