Congratulations to all the girls in Girl Scouts in Peachtree City who earned their Gold Award this year.

Each of these girls completed a Gold Award project of over 80 hours of work after they completed many leadership hours and completed a Journey Award.

Each girl created and executed her own individual project. There were 16 projects in all.

Several projects were at the Community Garden, one scout organized costumes for a community theater, one scout collected books for a library in a school in Kenya, one scout worked with the Hero Box project, and one scout organized a club for students at McIntosh High School.

Each project is a special effort on the Girl Scouts’ part to make the world a better place.
