The Spring Taste of Newnan, sponsored by Main Street Newnan, is gearing up for a night of fun for the whole family. Located on the courthouse square in historic Downtown Newnan on April 18 from 5-8:30 p.m. there is sure to be something for everyone. The event showcases local restaurants and gives attendees the opportunity to sample foods that these businesses do best.

Be sure to visit the Kidz Zone set up on West Washington Street where youngsters can enjoy carnival rides, funnel cakes, fried oreos and much more.

The voting for “Best of Taste of Newnan” and “Best Booth” will be held at the Main Street Information Tent located on West Broad Street.

This year’s entertainment will be provided by “True Story Worship” and Trenton Ewing who will be performing on the entertainment stage located on West Broad Street. Tables and chairs will be available again this year in front of the stage so that you can sit and enjoy your food and listen to the great entertainment.

Tickets will be sold at the event and presold at Bank of North Georgia (Jefferson St and Temple Ave branches), Encore Decor, Charter Bank (downtown branch), DuBose Jewelers, Fine Lines Framing, Gillyweed, C.S. Toggery, Let Them Eat Toffee, and Grannie Fannie’s Antiques. Tickets at these locations must be purchased with cash or check.

Free public parking is available along downtown streets and in the numerous off-street lots located on the corner of LaGrange Street and Spring Street, First Avenue and Spring Street, East Broad Street and Perry Street and East Washington Street and Perry Street.

Taste of Newnan is open to the public and there is no admission charge. As with all Main Street events, this is rain or shine.
