Wayne and Tanya Hogarth of Fayetteville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Elizabeth, to James McMullen II, son of James and Kelly McMullen of Virginia Beach, Va.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Junius and Margie Condrey of Richmond, Va. and Earl Hogarth and the late Billie Marie Hogarth of Chester, Va.
She is a 2008 honor graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and graduated cum laude from Winthrop University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
She is an employee of Winthrop University and is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at UNC Charlotte.
The future groom is the grandson of Bebe Sicilia of Suffolk, Va. and the late Ryland Porter of Troutman, N.C. and John and Betty McMullen of Virginia Beach, Va.
He is a 2004 graduate of Ocean Lakes High School, a 2009 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in psychology and a 2011 graduate of Old Dominion University with a master’s degree in school counseling.
He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in counselor education at UNC Charlotte.
An outdoor wedding is planned for June 28, 2013 at Tega Cay Country Club in South Carolina.
Following the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Charlotte.
