Dykes-Lambert Engagement

Mr. and Mrs. David Dykes of Fayetteville, Ga. are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Erin Dykes, to Philip Andrew Lambert, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lambert of Palmetto, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Dykes, of Columbia, S.C. and Mrs. Betty Nave and the late Mr. Clarence Nave, of Columbia, S.C.

She is a 2002 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is currently employed at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in the Human Resources Dept. in Newnan, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Grubbs, of Palmetto, Ga. and Mrs. Jacqueline Lambert and the late Mr. Dudley James Lambert, of Palmetto, Ga.

He is a 2002 graduate of Landmark Christian School and a 2008 graduate of Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Forestry.

He is currently employed at Alabama Power Co. as a line clearing specialist in the southeast division office in Eufaula, Ala.

The wedding will take place on March 16, 2013 at Palmetto Baptist Church in Palmetto, Ga., with a reception following at Vinewood in Newnan, Ga.
