Providence United Methodist Church will offer many new classes for 2013.
Classes offered on Wednesday evenings include:
Winning at Work and Home, a 16-week study for men, focuses on the areas central to a man’s life: career and family. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.
The class is led by Tom Nolan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Financial Peace: Providence UMC will offer Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace” beginning Jan. 16. The class will meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. for nine weeks.
Past, Present and Future for adults. This six-week study led by Philip Foster begins Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
The study focuses on God’s lessons from the past, instructions for living today, and promises for the future. The primary focus is to forgive others and ourselves for past actions, and to stop trying to predict the future.
Ladies’ Bible Studies will include Beth Moore’s “Breaking Free,” offered on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. beginning Jan. 9.
“Loving God with All Five Senses,” will be offered on Sundays at 5 p.m. starting Jan. 13. This study is a journey of intimacy with God and explores how the use of one’s senses can hinder or promote a thriving relationship with God.
