Mr. Lewis Doyle Griggs, age 75, of Newnan, passed away at his home on August 7, 2012. He was born in Fayette County on November 14, 1936 to the late James Lewis Griggs and Estelle Parrott Griggs.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Harriette Padgett Griggs; children, Gary Lewis Griggs, Gayla Griggs Agrifolio and Greta Griggs Hannah (Darrell); grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Hannah, Courtney Lauren Hannah and Brooke Nicole Wayman; niece, Jennifer Thomas Hopper (Jon) and great nieces, Emma and Ella Hopper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Griggs Thomas.
Mr. Griggs was a retired business man who had a passion for aviation in which he had a long career in. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
