Senoia United Methodist Church preps for Education Sunday July 29

    Members of Senoia United Methodist Church are preparing for “Education Sunday.”

    Faculty and the support staff from Eastside Elementary School, Coweta Charter Academy, East Coweta Middle School, and East Coweta High School are invited to attend a special dedication service followed by a covered dish luncheon on July 29th at Senoia United Methodist Church.

    Worship will begin at 10:55 a.m., and recognition of the teachers and staff will be a featured part of the morning service.

    Prayers and blessings for a safe, successful school year will be offered for the teachers, staff, and students.

    Quoting the Rev. Nathanial Long, whose wife Meridy is an elementary school teacher, “Along with the Church, the greatest influence outside the home are the dedicated faculty and staffs of our schools where students are nurtured intellectually and physically to develop their full potential and assume a responsible role in society.”
