A man accused of exposing himself to women who were exercising at two Fayetteville parks was arrested Wednesday, June 13, according to deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeremy Craig Longstreth, 38, of Harp Road, Fayetteville, is accused of separate incidents on March 19 and June 4 of this year in which he targeted females who were exercising alone, officials said. The first incident occurred March 19 at McCurry Park on McDonough Road and the second incident happened June 4 at Patriot Park off Redwine Road, deputies said.

Longstreth is charged with two counts of public indecency and one count of stalking.

Both incidents occurred during daytime hours, and deputies are reminding citizens to exercise in groups, stay aware of their surroundings and to not hesitate to call for help is any suspicious activity is observed.

Deputies said it is possible that similar incidents have occurred but may not have yet been reported to law enforcement. Anyone with information on similar incidents is asked to call Inv. Josh Shelton at 770-716-4777.
