The Line Creek Civitan Club with a matching grant from the Georgia District Civitan Foundation assisted the Braelinn Elementary School in Peachtree City in acquiring additional playground equipment for their Special Needs Children’s program.

According to club president David Joslin, “the net proceeds from all of our club’s fundraising efforts support community charities and Civitan projects that work to improve the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.” The club also provides scholarship funding for Civitan’s Camp Big Heart for children and young adults with developmental disabilities.

The club’s primary fundraisers are the “Great Chili Challenge” held at Shakerag Knoll and the “Leave No One Behind Golf Tournament” held each spring at Braelinn Golf Club.
