State Rep. Matt Ramsey, retiring state Rep. Billy Horne and Superior Court Judge candidate Emory Palmer will be the guest speakers for a May 24 town hall meeting hosted by the Senoia Tea Party Patriots. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Senoia Municipal Court building located at 505 Howard Road.
Due to redistricting, Senoia, Haralson, Brooks, Peachtree City and a portion of Fayetteville will now be in District 72. Rep. Ramsey has decided to run for reelection for the District 72 State Representative seat. He will share with us the challenges he faced during the 2012 Legislative Session of the General Assembly.
Emory Palmer has decided to run for Superior Court Judge in the Coweta Judicial Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Coweta Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and is a Georgia Supreme Court Approved Mentor.
This is an opportunity to learn why State Rep. Matt Ramsey and Emory Palmer want you to vote for them on July 31.
Rep. Billy Horne has been our representative since January 10, 2005. This meeting is a great way for the residents of Senoia and all of the current District 71 residents to show him our appreciation for his outstanding service, said organization coordinator Joe Cannin.
The Senoia Tea Party Patriots appreciate the support that the residents of Southeast Coweta County have shown us at our forum and town hall meetings. Our primary mission is to educate everyone on where the candidates stand on issues that will affect all of us, Cannin said.
