A move is afoot to have Peachtree City honored as “America’s Most Interesting Town.”
An online contest is underway thanks to Reader’s Digest magazine, and there are 11 different categories to choose from.
Reader’s Digest is inviting residents to submit photos and stories of up to 2,000 words each on why their town should be chosen in one of the following categories:
• Most interesting overall town;
• Most interesting town parade;
• Most interesting town event;
• Most interesting town nickname;
• Most interesting town scenic view
• Most interesting town’s family
• Most interesting town legend
• Most interesting town trivia
• Most interesting town funny story;
• Most interesting town character; and
• Most interesting town landmark.
