It came as no surprise to me to learn of the accident involving a Fayette County schoolbus.
After observing multiple situations of unsafe driving and speeding by these drivers, I wrote to three administrators to report the specifics: day and time, exact location and school bus identification number, and to pose some questions.
Neither Jeff Bearden, the Fayette County Superintendent of Schools, Michael Jennings, the Fayette County Director of Transportation, or Dr. John D. Barge, the Georgia State Superintendent of Schools, have responded to any of my letters which date back to Jan. 9, 2012.
