Each year Flat Creek Baptist Church and The Fairburn Baptist Association provide training for all Sunday School/Small Group workers. This year the theme will be “A Light Unto My Path,” taken from Psalms 119:105. The training event will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at the church.

Supper will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the training event from 7-10 p.m.

“We bring the most sought-after instructors to the Flat Creek Baptist Church campus” a spokesperson said. We provide you with a wonderful meal (reservation required) and specialized training. Our reason and goal is to make your Sunday school/small group ministry the very best that it can be. We want to increase the knowledge of the teachers and workers in this ministry and give them the teaching tools they need to be effective for the Lord to use.”

The cost is $5 each for Fairburn Association members and $15 each for non-Fairburn Association members, due by Jan. 20. Cost is for meal and training (due even if meal is not attended). Payment is due with reservation by Jan. 20. Call if alternate arrangements need to be made.

There will be classes for leaders of all age groups (from preschool through adult) as well as pastors, Sunday School directors and more, led by acclaimed leaders from all over the state.

RSVP by Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 to Lisa Stewart at lisas@flatcreekbaptist.org or 770-487-4890 (after hours extension is 208).
