UPDATED Friday, Dec. 2, 9:52 a.m.Peachtree City police yesterday released a man who was initally taken into custody following a domestic dispute just before 11 a.m. at a home on Peachtree Parkway just north of Stevens Entry.
There was not sufficient evidence to support an arrest in the case, police said. It also turned out that the suspect was unarmed, police said.
When the call was first reported to 911, officers surrounded the home while they attempted to convince the man to leave the home and talk with them. The suspect ultimately cooperated, police said.
No injuries were reported, as everyone who was inside the home when the incident occurred was able to leave, police said.
