Two with big wins and two with upsets of region champions

Sandy Creek (11-0) increased their winning streak to 40 games and advanced to the second round of the Class AAA football playoffs with a 55-12 win over Butler. They will host

the winner of Troup and Cedar Grove next week. Landmark Christian (9-2) upset region 6-A champion Darlington 17-14 to make the second round of the Class A playoffs. In AAAA, Northgate, region 3-AAAA’s champion, dispatched North Clayton 42-7. In AAAAA, Newnan upset Valdosta, a region champion, 17-7, while East Coweta lost to Colquitt County 31-10.
