Tough losses for some, while Patriots make it 38 straight

In tonight’s games, three local teams built early leads and saw their opponents in region 3-AAAA rally and beat them. Whitewater lost to Northgate 27-24, Starr’s Mill lost to Harris County 28-21 and McIntosh lost to Upson-Lee 13-7. Fayette County hosted reigning Class AAA champion Sandy Creek and lost 31-0. In region 5-A, Landmark Christian and Our Lady of Mercy both won big, 35-0 and 45-0 respectively.
