0Robert Franklin Cauthen, 77, passed away on Oct. 9, 2011.
He was a member of the U.S. Army and went to work for J.C. Penney’s, where he later retired.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Cauthen of 54 years; daughters, Patti Howell and husband, Ervin of Sharpsburg, Ga.; Cindy Brackett and husband, Daniel of Stockbridge, Ga.; 4 grandchildren; Courtney Grega, Carter Brackett, Caitlin Brackett and Michael Howell; brother, Hugh Cauthen of Gainesville, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Hugh Cauthen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
