0Mr. Lester Ray Duncan, 80, of Newnan, Ga., passed away on Sept. 14, 2011.
Mr. Duncan is a former resident of Lakewood Christian Manor. He retired from Genuine Auto Parts, where he worked as a parts delivery man.
Being an avid collector, he enjoyed increasing his collections of belt buckles, plates, guns and coins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lester Earl Duncan and Marguerite Cofer Duncan and his sister Alice Lewis. He is survived by his sisters Doris Phillips of Fayetteville, Ga., Mary Ruth Cody of Newnan, Ga. and Linda Callaway and her husband James of Fayetteville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park.
The family received friends on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
