Unite Weekend is October 1 at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran, and service projects include volunteers from several area churches. Christ Our Shepherd will offer several events to the community. An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, from 2:30-7 p.m.

On Oct. 1 flu shots will be offered from 2-4 p.m.; the cost is $25.

Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. is the Give and Take Exchange Mart. Clean and gently-used items are available free.

Paper shredding, also free, is offered by Thrivent Financial; documents may be dropped off at the church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Dewey Patrick and Vickie Dauenhauer will lead a Job Search workshop Saturday, from 9-10 a.m., to share professional advice.
