Mrs. Ruth Ann Adamek, 68, of Newnan, Ga,. passed away Aug. 29, 2011. She was born Feb. 20, 1943 in Bay City, Mich. and the daughter of Walter Knoerr & Ida Feinauer Knoerr.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & sister who spent many years as a kindergarten teacher and a Mary Kay director.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Norma Schulz, brother Lyman Knoerr & sister-in-law Jeanne Peters.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles G. “Chuck” Adamek of Newnan; daughters Brooke Moore & husband Dean of Fayetteville and Dana Noah & husband Chris of Peachtree City, Ga.; grandsons Jackson & Blake Noah; brothers & sisters; Hilda Ponichtera of Saginaw, Mich., Marie Piotrowski of Turner, Mich., Roy Knoerr of Southfield, Mich. & Gilbert Knoerr of Midland, Mich.; brother and sister-in-law Jerry & Sandy Adamek of Fayettteville, Ga.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Peachtree City Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Schepmann officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
