Marda L. Suliga (nee: Enbody), of Hillsborough died Thursday, Aug. 25th, at the Somerset Medical Center. She was 81.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, she lived in Colonia for over 50 years before moving to Hillsborough five years ago.
She worked in the Human Resources Department of Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick for many years before her retirement.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Mayflower Compact.
Her husband, Edward J. Suliga, Sr. died in 1979. Her son, John Suliga died in 2002.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Edward J. Suliga, Jr. and his wife Jane of Manassas, Va., Randall Suliga, Sr. and his wife Sharon of Colonia, William Suliga and his wife Jennifer of Manassas, Va. and Robert Suliga of Somerset; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda & Gary Kowalczyk of Houston, Texas, Kathy & Robert Kahle of Monclova, Ohio, Kathy & Dave Hasse of Peachtree City, Ga., and Suzanne & Robert Maglia of Hillsborough; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, Aug. 29, at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. A Blessing was held on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Vander Hoven Chapel of Hazel Wood Cemetery, Clark.
