John Weingartner of San Diego and Tonia Weingartner of Atlanta announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara Mae Weingartner, to Philip Charles Yarri, Jr., son of Philip Sr. and Kathleen Yarri of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Gordon and Doloris Weingartner of Fayetteville and Allen and Faye Fountain of Marietta and Barbara Fountain of Covington. She is a 2006 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2008 graduate of Griffin Tech. She is employed by Salon Serenity in Peachtree City. .
The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Louis and Catherine Hartmann of Riverdale and Harriet Yarri of Newnan and the late Charles Yarri of New York. He is a 2005 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2010 graduate of Georgia State. He is employed by Clayton County Fire Department.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Glendalough Manor in Tyrone. A reception will follow the ceremony. Following a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
