Norma Marlene “Kitty” Clarke passed away Aug. 18, 2011, after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her daughter Valerie Reynolds-Howard of Senoia, Ga.; and her siblings Rita Barlow of Monroe, Maine; Giles Greenier of Burdett, N.Y.; Vernal Greenier of Caribou, Maine; Loretta Mattoon of Macedon, N.Y.; Phyllis Tatham of Milton, N.H.; Donna Barden of Lumberton, N.C.; Dee Normandin of Enfield, Conn.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, in the Trinity Chapel of Trinity Baptist Church, 216 Shelburne Road, Asheville, N.C., Rev. Allen Rash officiating.
