I am a citizen of Fayette County and I am very disturbed by the color of the outside paint on the La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in almost the center of [Fayetteville]. The first time I saw the horrible “mustard yellow” color, I thought that I was in a time warp and was in Riverdale.
Are we going to let restaurants paint their buildings any disgusting color that they want to? If we are, why are the powers that be so against more than two signs at restaurants, such as Longhorn.
Longhorn is requesting that they be approved to have a third sign. Their third sign would sure look better than this restaurant.
Did La Hacienda request approval for the color that they painted their restaurant; if so who did the approval?
I don’t want our county seat to look like Riverdale. If I want buildings of horrible colors in my city I would move to Riverdale. I think the restaurant needs to be repainted immediately. Do other citizens of Fayetteville agree??
