James William “Bill” Walker, 69, of Temple, Ga., passed away July 26, 2011.
Mr. Walker was born in Atlanta, Ga. He was the owner of Clayco Builders & East Clayton Cabinets. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Richard Walker and Buddy Walker.
He is survived by his children Lynn Ivey & husband Gary of Sharpsburg, Ga., Jimmy Walker & wife Christie of St. John’s, Fla., and Tom Walker of Woodstock, Ga.; 4 grandchildren Lindsey Walker, Megan Walker, Garrett Ivey & Nicholas Ivey; brothers Ernie Walker of Jackson, Ga., Johnny Walker of Lake Wedowee, Ala., Leslie Walker of Temple, Ga., Mike Walker of Wedowee, Ala., & Allen Walker of Dallas, Ga.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City, Ga. with Minister Bob Tyler officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, Ga. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
