Aberham “Sam” Campbell, age 85, of Jonesboro, died May 6, 2011.
Sam loved his family and friends and enjoyed nothing more than raking leaves in the fall.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Jeannett Campbell; six sons: Stanley & Brenda of Pascagoula, MS; Ron of Manchester, TN; Bradley & Barbara of Gay, GA; Bobby of Denver, NC; Clay of Jonesboro, GA and Robbie of Jonesboro, GA and two daughters: Janet & Jerry Lee of Chipley, FL; and Frida Stroup of Hampton, GA; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Mowell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Camp Memorial Cemetery in Fayetteville, GA.
The visitation will be Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville, GA.
