There is nothing locally like the life-size mock-up of ancient Jerusalem found each year at Providence United Methodist Church on Bernhard Road. The Marketplace event last weekend gave the usual mass of visitors the chance to see ancient pottery-making and try their hand at a multitude of interactive exhibits such as crushing grapes, slaying Goliath, conversing with villagers and Roman soldiers and going for a camel ride.
