Willis Road Elementary on Tuesday celebrated its first annual “Fine Arts Night.” Artwork from all students was displayed throughout the building. The Willis Road Chorus, featuring 75 students from grades 4 and 5, presented a program of music. Selected 5th grade students also performed scenes from several musicals, including “Willy Wonka,” “The Music Man,” “The King and I,” and “Once Upon A Mattress.” The event also included a silent auction and coffee bar. Proceeds from the event will go to the school’s art department. Photo/Ben Nelms
