Mr. and Mrs. James Ferris of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Christine Ferris of Newnan, to David Jayson High, also of Newnan, son of Jeff High of Lawson, Missouri and Lois Bernard of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be attended The University of West Georgia and is currently employed at the law office of Bruce Hagen, Attorney at Law in Decatur.
The groom-elect is a graduate of The University of West Georgia. He is currently a corporal serving with the Peachtree City Police Department.
An April wedding is planned in the gardens of the Wyndham Peachtree City Conference Center. A reception will follow the ceremony. The couple plans to honeymoon in Savannah and will reside in Newnan.
