At Crabapple Lane Elementary School fifth grade students participated in a hands on Science lesson by creating their own working electrical boxes. As a part of the unit on electricity students designed, created, and then wired shoebox rooms with working lights and home-made switches. This fun project helped reinforce Georgia state standards on electrical circuits in a real-life situation. Pictured here are students Haley Mason and Quinn Maston. These two students recreated a bedroom scene with working lights. At the conclusion of the unit each student displayed their boxes for other students and parents to view.
