Steven Edward Williams, born September 27, 1962 to Gordon and Laurel Williams, in Leadville, Colorado, passed away at his home in Sharpsburg on February 15, 2011.
Steve grew up in the western slope of Colorado where he enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor activities and became an accomplished nature photographer. He graduated from Basalt High School, Colorado and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He was a state certified master plumber, active in the local church, and treasured son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Steve had a passion for all things outdoors, including camping, fishing, whitewater rafting, gardening, and especially hunting, which he shared with his son. Steve enjoyed spending time with his devoted wife along the Line Creek Nature Trail walking their beloved dog .These times and others will be sorely missed.
Steve is survived by his mother, Laurel Williams; sister, Rosalie and Tom Lewin; niece, Ashleigh Lewin; sister, Cindy Williams and Brad Leach, and his wife, Theresa Lynn Williams; son, Brian Clayton Ray and Marissa Ray; granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Ray; daughter, Erica Nicole Osborn and Russell Osborn.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2 PM at Cathedral of Christ the King Episcopal Church, Sharpsburg, GA.
