Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Walker of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Celeste Walker, to Samuel Bennett Hearn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hearn of Brooks.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bettie Sue Walker and the late Gene Walker of Fayetteville, and the late Mrs. Louise Eyles of Atlanta. She is a 2006 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2010 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in community health and human services. She is currently employed at The Emory Clinic in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Hearn and the late Harvey Hearn of Palmetto, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cochran of Fairburn, and the late Mr. Lyndol Black of Fairburn. He is a 2006 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2010 graduate of Clayton State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is the owner of Hearn Landscape Management.
The wedding will be held in May 2011. The couple will reside in Fayetteville.
