Young people at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity will serve a spaghetti dinner Wednesday, Feb. 16, to raise funds for a youth mission trip in June.

The benefit event is billed as “Mama Rita’s Italian Kitchen” in honor of the Rev. Rita Henault, rector of the parish. Serving will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the common room of the educational building of the church, located at 130 Antioch Road, just off Georgia Route 92, south of downtown Fayetteville.

Tickets, which may be obtained at the church in advance or at the door, are $5 for adults and $3 for children aged 10 and younger. Maximum charge for a family is $13.

On the mission trip, set for June 19-25, six young people and four adults will spend a week in Lexington, N.C., repairing homes of elderly and disabled residents. Last year a group from Church of the Nativity spent a week on a similar project in southern Illinois.
