With winter advancing and much greenery along Peachtree City’s path system going dormant, city officials are anticipating that residents will see a few more “things” off the beaten path in coming weeks.

In particular, the city is asking residents to report the location of large items such as mattresses, furniture, tires and more that has been illegally deposited in greenbelts and streambeds.

Anyone seeing such material may report it via email to info@peachtree-city.org under the subject line Large Litter Item Report or by calling 770-487-5183. Those passing along the information are asked to include the nearest yellow numbered path marker if the item is only visible from the paths, or the street address if the item is visible from the road.
