Mrs. Joyce Jordan Allen, 67, of Stockbridge, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010.
Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her husband Aaron D. Allen, her father William Thomas English and her brother Tommy English.
She is survived by her son Jason and Joanie Allen of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Laney, Miller and Hadley; mother Ivelyn English of Stapleton; sisters, Ellen and Vic Vickers of Tifton, GA and Krystal and Ronald Ponder of Metter; sister-in-law Sandra English of Hartwell, GA; nieces and nephews, Greg Ponder, Robin Brock, Ivey Vickers and Will English.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Jonesboro First Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Stapleton City Cemetery, Stapleton, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
