All Saints Anglican Church in Peachtree City will host a free Christmas music recital in its sanctuary on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The theme is “Home For The Holidays.”
The presentation will be organized and led by All Saints music director Shannon Bryan, who will play the piano and accompany guest soprano Chelsea Buyalos. LeeLee Hunter will also perform solo classical guitar.
A sampling of the music includes, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “Ave Maria,” and “Oh Holy Night.” The artists will comment on the pieces and the composers during the program, which is expected to last an hour and a half.
Bryan, a resident of Fayette County, has been music director at All Saints for several years. Soprano Chelsea Buyalos, currently enrolled at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, has a distinguished background in classical music. Guitarist LeeLee Hunter is also enrolled at the Peabody Conservatory and is now in her third year of classical guitar study.
