New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville invites the community to its presentation of The Living Christmas Tree 2010, “The Journey Home.”

This year’s production features 400 adults, students and children taking part in the choirs, orchestra and cast, as well as a 40 foot “singing” Christmas Tree with thousands of computerized lighting effects.

The all new original story focuses on a soldier returning home from war with many questions about his faith.

Reconnecting with his father in a coffee shop, the young man’s “journey home” weaves a path through dramatic scenes from the Bible.

This year’s production includes a colorful Christmas Parade, gospel choir, special effects and surprises for the whole family.

Tickets are free to the community and are available online at newhopebc.org, by calling 770-460-4838, or from the church office at the North Campus, 551 New Hope Rd., or South Campus on Ga. Highway 74.

Tickets also are available after Sunday services at the South Campus (9:15 a.m.) or North Campus (10:55 a.m.)
