0The Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department recently became the proud recipient of two GRPA awards. On Oct. 13 at the District Awards Banquet the director, Anita Godbee accepted the Athletic Award for “Middle School Girls Volleyball.” On Nov. 3, at the State Awards Banquet, both Godbee and Therapeutic Coordinator Debbie Parrish were on hand to receive the publication award for the for the Summer 2010 Fayette County Parks and Recreation brochure.
