I am calling on my friends to help Fayette Senior Services meet its goal to raise $30,000 in support of our Meals On Wheels program.
As you may know, Fayette Senior Services delivers more than 40,000 home delivered meals to homebound seniors each year.
Would you please take a moment to read about our Project Love Holiday Meal Campaign and learn how you can help make a difference in the lives of Fayette County’s senior citizens?
Each year, Fayette Senior Services, Inc., a non-profit 501.c.3 organization, delivers more than 40,000 meals to homebound senior citizens through its Meals On Wheels program. Many of our community’s seniors live alone and have health conditions that make preparing a nutritious meal a real challenge. Others have very limited incomes, making it difficult to maintain a healthy diet.
For more than 30 years, Meals On Wheels has ensured that no senior in our community goes hungry or is without the ability to have proper nutrition.
The general funding we receive for our Meals On Wheels program only covers the cost of weekly meals and does not provide for additional holiday meals. Our annual Project Love Holiday Meal Campaign bridges that gap.
With your help, hundreds of homebound seniors will experience the comfort and joy of having a good nutritious meal on holidays throughout the year.
Go to the website (www.fayss.org) and look for the Meals on Wheels logo. Take a moment to click here to learn how you can help. The Project Love Donation Form is included in this printable brochure for your thoughtful consideration. For your convenience, you may also make your Project Love donations online; select the Project Love option under donation use.
I hope I can count on your support this year. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of Fayette County’s older adults who need a little helping hand.
