NHBC to host Fall Festival, car show
National Heights Baptist Church will be have a free fall festival and car show Saturday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Peach State Early Ford V-8 Club will feature antique Ford automobiles dating from the 1920s to the 1980s.

There will be a Moonwalk, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and bean bag toss for the kids. There will also be barbecue, hot dogs and baked goods available for sale. Whitewater plans Family Fun Day
Whitewater Church will have Community Family Fun Day Nov. 6 beginning at 5 p.m. The event will feature a movie under the stars on a jumbo screen, hamburgers, hotdogs, inflatables, clowns, face painting, fire truck, police car and more. There also will be a drawing for a free iPod Touch third generation. All events are free and the entire community is invited. Women of COS will host silent auction
The Women of Christ our Shepherd invite women in the community to “Make It, Bake It, Sew It, Grow It,” A silent auction on Monday, Nov. 8, from 7-9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Christ our Shepherd, 101 N. Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City. The event will feature a holiday program by Kathy Becknell, interior designer of Bella Home Creation, and door prizes. Admission is free. Special GriefShare offered Nov. 10, 12
“Surviving The Holidays” is a special GriefShare seminar offered by Holy Trinity Catholic Church to help those dealing with grief during the holidays. The program will be offered Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 12 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 101 Walt Banks Road in Peachtree City.
